Lymphatic Drainage
Your body’s lymphatic system is a group of vessels, organs and tissues that protect you from infection and keep the fluids within your body in balance. Lymph nodes are glands located throughout the body that monitor and cleanse lymph as it filters through. If these are swollen or you’re experiencing areas of swelling and/or fluid build up, manual lymphatic drainage massage is most likely beneficial for natural results and relief.
Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized medical massage that gently moves lymph fluid through the body to help relieve swelling. Therapists are trained and certified to work with the body’s lymphatic system. This therapy can also be recommended shortly after surgical procedures to speed recovery and prevent infection.
